39 Palestinians are freed, and 25 hostages are taken by Hamas.

Hamas released 25 hostages, including 12 Thais, and Israel released 39 Palestinians after a seven-week ceasefire in Gaza.

Arab media reports that Hamas has begun carrying out the cease-fire deal; among the hostages that Hamas has freed are 12 Thai nationals and 13 Israelis, including women and children.

Over four days, Hamas will free 150 Palestinians detained by Israel and 50 captives held in Gaza.

13 Israeli hostages had been freed by Hamas, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office in Israel.

Arab media reports indicate that Israeli officials have made arrangements for the transfer of the captives to Schneider Hospital outside Tel Aviv by helicopter.
