Prime Minister’s Order to Address K Electric’s Issues First.

Anwarul Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, would give K-Electric’s issues first attention.

Minister for Energy Muhammad Ali, senior officials, and K-Electric CEO sat on interim Prime Minister Anwarul Haque Kakar’s chair. The delegation from Karachi Electric praised the acting prime minister and his colleagues for settling long-standing problems.

On this occasion, the acting prime minister also gave orders to address Karachi Electric’s outstanding problems as soon as possible.

The caretaker prime minister feels the government has handled long-standing concerns, prioritized foreign investment infrastructure, and achieved short-term economic stability. This essential principle helped the government.

The caretaker government
would strive to the end to solve the nation’s economic problems, Anwarul Haq Kakar said.

He applauded Karachi Electric (KE) and the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) for signing the interconnection agreement yesterday.


Karachi Electric’s CEO thanked the acting prime minister and other authorities for quickly resolving the company’s concerns. The government is also tackling lingering issues to remove all hurdles to Karachi residents’ electrical access.


The gathering saw the presentation of ideas for resolving Karachi Electric’s issues. The Prime Minister ordered NEPRA and Karachi Electric to collaborate to identify a priority solution and report as soon as possible.
